Andre Marins started studying Classical guitar at the age of eleven and then went to study Jazz improvisation a few years later until both forces united in the context of Progressive Rock.
Andre's guitar playing and compositions involve crafted arrangements as well as improvisational passages touched by diverse time signatures where charming melodies are embraced by rich chord voicings with solid soloing techniques.

Andre is the founder and the driving force of the "Heavy Progressive" band SENHOR OF FLAME and co-founder of the project INVOCATION OF IMPROVISATION with accomplished drummer Carlos Solorzano(http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=107719780).
